Bachelor of Commerce (major in Accounting), 1989, Murdoch University, Western Australia.

Chairman and Managing Director of FirstLink Investments Corporation Limited and sits on the Board of Directors since 20 May 2005. Member of Remuneration and Nominating Committees.

Mr Ling started his career with Ernst & Young as an Auditor in 1991. In 1993 he was a Finance Manager in Keppel Securities Pte Ltd, before joining the Deutsche Morgan Grenfell & Partners Securities Pte Ltd in 1994 as its Vice President where he managed equity investments for high networth investors. He became Head of Sales for private and corporate clients in Socgen Crosby Securities Pte Ltd in 1996.

In 2001, he was Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer of IPCO International Ltd and he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the infrastructure projects, in particular, managing the 240 kilometres toll road in Guangzhou, China.

In addition, he is also a fellow member of Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants.
