Firstlink Investments Corporation Limited began in 1973 as Singatronics Pte Ltd, a manufacturer of consumer electronic products, such as pocket calculators, toys and games. On 5 October 1978, Singatronics (Singapore) Pte Ltd was incorporated as a private limited company to take over the entire undertakings of Singatronics Pte Ltd. The Company was converted to a public company, known as Singatronics Limited on 7 September 1987 and listed on the Secondary Board of the Singapore Stock Exchange, SESDAQ on 19 October 1987. It was subsequently upgraded to the Main Board on 5 November 1990. The Company was delisted from the Singapore Stock Exchange on 30 November 2011. Firstlink continues its operation as a public unlisted company. The principal activity of the Company is investment holding.
